Any High School hoops fans?

Post some highlight videos of great players you've seen that you peg as future NBA starters. Three have stood out to me that I've seen. Jabari Parker from Chicago, Chris Thomas from Denver (goes to hs in Phoenix i believe), and Anthony Bennett from Toronto (goes to Findlay Prep in Nevada). Parker is clearly the best. He's as skilled as anyone I've ever seen on the high school level. When I saw Rose in high school it was obvious he was on another planet athletically. Parker is like that with his skill - and his athleticism ain't too shabby either. Guaranteed All-Star barring injry.

When I was growing up in Chicago back in the 60's I would go to some highschool basketball games where I went to school. There were only 4 white guys in the whole gym! Me, the kid that went with me....one of the coaches and one of the refs! Can remember one school team called "Dusable" highschool. I think Maurice Cheeks went there but that was after my time. They had a chant: "Gobble, gobble....go Dusable!" Funny stuff! Good games, too! No chest bumbing after every shot made.....and no jailhouse tats on ANYONE!

You would've fit in perfectly if you grew up just a couple hours south in Pekin.

....funny thing, those Southern Illinois teams used to kick our butts in the state tournament every year...must have been the coaching.....or "style" of play, huh??? Team basketball vs. "hip-hop"....before hip hop basketball took over the game!

I thought Cal was going to get Bennett for sure... I guess you guys will have to settle with Poythress, Noel and Goodwin lol.

Bennett was injured all this season, and any performance (good or bad) in all star games are worthless, so I don't think most people know how unbelievably good he is. UNLV struck gold with him. He'll only be around for a season though.
 
I think Bennett is generally underrated. No doubt he is a baller.

I think he's a 2 and done, though, for picking the wrong school.

chris thomas is sooo ill. i think emery and thomas will be the two best from the rockies region ever.
 
C'mon, you can admit it Jerry and PKM. You still like going to the HS games to watch the cheerleaders. At some point, one of the moms is going to discover you don't actually have children that attend and notify the authorities.

dude I know Parker is ranked 1 but I havent seen him and sometimes that Stuff is all BS and I have seen Thomas a lot and He is dirrrty. Have u seen him?? He will be in the nba for sure I think

No, I haven't seen Thomas .. I have seen Parker near a dozen times .. Wiggins .. Randle .. Harrison Twins ..

I'll ck out Thomas too, I'm sure .. but how can you honestly ask who's better? Quite a homer reach.
