Bold Predictions for 2013 Draftees

Noel will never average more than 13 PPG.
Not bold.
Whoever picks WCS will be very happy in 3 years.
Not bold.
I really don't know too much about the HS'ers to be honest. I just refuse to hype them up until I see them in college. Every year I see HS'ers get over-hyped and them come into College and disappoint relative to the hype.
You're being a contrarian. Every year guys get hyped and they perform, every year some don't. Big ****ing deal. Predicting can be fun, if its not for you, then maybe you shouldn't participate.. but its silly to pretend that more of the super-hyped bust than make it.

Kelly Olynyk will run circles around Mason Plumlee

Wolters will be a better NBA player than Jeremy Lin, although Lin is far more marketable.

Not sure how bold that is.

I think most players don't live up to the hype though, because the hype is usually unrealistic and kind of snowballs. Not saying they all bust and suck, but they usually fail to live up to what people boast them to be.

Some do, some don't..

I'm happy with my track record on this board. You are right about the media overhyping though .. but I never listen to those idiots.

Wolters will lead Utah to the Finals within 5 years.

I wouldn't go that far.

But talent wise - how is he different to the #10 pick Jimmer a couple of years ago? If anything I'd say Wolters' more talented. He's shooting 41% from 3's. He's scoring 22.9 ppg, 5.7 assists. He can also drive it and dunk it, something Jimmer never could.

He should be able to achieve at least what Jimmer has done in the NBA, and some.

If the Jazz draft 17th overrall with one of their picks, they will draft a future allstar.

I'm gonna say that Shabazz Muhammed won't be a star. He certainly won't be worthy of a top ten pick, let alone the number one over all pick. I just don't see it.

No one in this draft will turn into a #1 option. I will say that Shabazz will undoubtably be a top 10 player in this draft.

Isiaah Austin will be the biggest bust of the draft. I just don't see it in him. Very awkward, slow, not agressive for rebounds, very very thin

Hey you guys. Get in here with some of these bold predictions going around.

I'm going with Victor Oladipo is going to be the best player in this draft.

I'll go with Steven Adams having a better NBA career than Zeller, Gobert, Olynyk and .....maybe even Noel. He'll be neck and neck with Len, but people from Rotorua are tough, so I'll give Adams the advantage. He's potentially a more athletic version of Bogut. Steven Adams is the Andre Drummond of this draft.

I'll go with Nate Wolters being a solid PG who is being underrated because of the conference he played in and the fact that people haven't seen him play with better players. This is the same reason Paul George was underrated in 2010. He'll remind people of Nash and Hornacek. He's crafty, smart and knows his limitations, plus he works hard enough to get his body where it needs to be. He's been going up against athletic 2-guards and double teams for two years now.

I'll go with Archie Goodwin becoming better than Caldwell-Pope, Allen Crabbe and Jamal Franklin. Why? Because he wants it, and he's talented enough to get it.

I'll go with Trey Burke being regarded as the 3rd or 4th PG in this draft 3 years from now. He'll have a hard time defending and getting to the rim. Meanwhile, I see Schroeder, McCollum and Wolters as being legit along with Burke and probably Larkin.

Glen Rice Jr. will go top 10 in a re-draft two years out.

Schroeder will go top 5 in a re-draft two years out.

Noel is a slightly rich man's Larry Sanders, but he needs to gain 20 lbs.
