I don't think so. They're sinking at the worst possible time.

If Corbin now has the sack to play the young guys then I may have hope for him. I have little hope he'll do so. Still, I think regardless the Jazz are stuck with him for another year. And to give him every benefit of the doubt I can I do want to see what he could do with the least amount of vets on the team, though I worry the Jazz FO may not let that happen. Still (again), if getting to the playoffs is some sort of massive priority and the Jazz fail to do that this year, maybe they'll rethink their strategy.

It's extremely painful for me to think this way. I cannot root for the Jazz to lose. Heck, the only time I ever rooted for any sports team I like to lose was one game for the Colts when losing meant they would lock up Andrew Luck. Since the NBA doesn't work that way it's extra pointless. And I love seeing the Jazz in the playoffs. But last year was awful and depressing to watch, and I'd much rather see them have a snowball's chance in hell at a top 3 pick than see them get swept in the playoffs, as much as I love watching playoff games.

I feel the same way I never root for my team to lose but if not making the playoffs help the Jazz get out of thinking its ok to be mediocre I am ok with it.

Hopefully, the front office will see the error of their way and ask Corbin to exit stage left....pronto! Even if they have to eat his contract, it must be done! He's just not cut out for NBA coaching. Michael Jordan was not cut out to be a GM. Some of us are not cut out to do certain things. Doesn't make us bad people.....we are just in over our head!

Thank god. The worst thing for this team would be finishing 8th again.

I'd say it's on equal footing with barely missing the playoffs and drafting 14th. We're kind of in limbo now because this team sucks, but they don't suck enough to contend for a good draft pick.

It's time for a big line up!

Big Al=PG.....for his passing skills
Favors=SG....for his outside shooting skills
Millsap=SF...because we always knew this was his true position
Enes Kanter=PF....because he's a PF not a C
Jeremy Evans=C....because he's won the dunk competition

Championship!!!

I wouldn't go so far as to say Corbin isn't cut out to be a head coach. I think he used Jerry as his model, but while it worked for Jerry, it didn't work for Ty. He needs to reinvent himself as a head coach.
