If the Jazz could somehow get a higher pick while keeping the number 14, i'd be super excited. I am willing to trade or give up anyone on the team except Kanter, Favors, and Hayward. That means i am willing to give up Burks... Yes it is true. I'm sure everyone will hate me now. Were we to get a top 6ish pick to go along with our other pick, i'd want Trey Burke and Victor Oladipo.

A draft like this would make us a truly legit team for the next Decade.

PG- Trey Burke: True Pg that doesn't turn the ball over and can shoot. Improved Defender. (PER in College is 29!!!) most of the prospects in the lotto around 22ish.
SG- Victor Oladipo: Lock down Defender and would be the most athletic player in Jazz history. High motor with sick defensive intensity. Great in Transition. (PER in college is 30)!!
SF-Gordon Hayward: Knock Down Shooter. can play with ball in his hands. Gets to the FT line. Great in Transition. Willing Defender. System Guy that Helps your team win.
PF-Enes Kanter- Great Post game. Rebounds the ball. Can stretch the defensive with his soft J. Fantastic FT shooter for a Big. Potential Go to guy on offense. Great Motor.
C-Derrick Favors- Tyson Chandler-esk with more offensive game. Great in the open floor. runs the floor like a gazelle. Long and athletic. defensive Anchor.

If we could somehow Burke and Oladipo, I am quite confident we would eventually be good enough to challenge the Thunder in the West. The Reason I want Burke and Oladipo is that these guys help you win games. We would be like the champion Pistons of 04. If we just had a coach that could put it all together, We'd be challenging the Thunder every year.

Seriously we don't trade Burks.... That's stupid...

Go jazz make the playoffs!!

Here's the thing Zulu, you actually do trade burks if it =Victor Oladipo... Don't get me wrong, I love Burks, but I also Love Big Al and he doesn't get us to contender status. I'm Not sure yet that Burks is anything more than a solid 2 off the bench. I hope he makes a jump next season, but it's unclear that he does.

I'm saying it now... Burks will have a better career than Victor!!!!

Teacher to student!!

You do realize that Victor is a Jr and the same age as Burks...

What do you think Burks would look like if he was a Jr. At Colorado still!!!

Probably a top 3 pick...

Maybe. I like them both. So I wouldn't say it's a lock that Burks will have a better career. Oladipo could be special. But I'm not sure I do the trade either. It would just be taking a huge gamble. Which the Jazz won't do anyways, so none of this is relevant anyways. In fact, its more likely that the Jazz trade away their picks for some more vets.

Go put this stuff in the bold prediction thread

My dream draft: Trey Burke & Glen Robinson III.

Glen Robinson III is a freak of an athlete waiting to happen. He doesn't have the game / skills yet, but once all that catches up with him, I really think he could be our future SF.

You get Burke who is steady / safe pick, plus, GRIII who has a very high ceiling, potentially top 5 in the class in 4 years, IMO if he develops properly.

Not one of them were done in a half court set without being setup by Burke, that raises my "Ronnie Brewer" alarm. Whether he can't or the offense is not designed as such.....I don't know.

He's still raw, no doubt, but if he stays 1 more year in college and improve, he could probably go top 10 next year. So if we can somehow get him with the GSW pick (let's say #19-#22) and develop him slowly, he could be a steal in 3-4 years.
