Corbin: it is just the playoffs we missed it by just one game

If LA loses one and the Jazz win both our games we're still in, right? Not saying I'm hopeful, and que the dumb and dumber reference, but there's still a chance.

True, there is a chance. That is why I was going to wait until it was mathematically impossible for the Jazz to make the playoffs.

Dutch just jumped the gun.

also if/when the jazz miss the playoof by 1 game.
we should sticky a thread with the title it is just one game.
until jazz get the homecourt advantage in the playoffs(however many seasons it takes).
 
It's just one season...we just need to move on and look towards making the same mistakes next season.

Corbin definitely cost the Jazz several games this year (although I'm guessing your hinting at more than that) however you go to any teams message board and they will say similar things that their coach cost them "x" amount of games and of only "....". Again I'm not denying he did just pointing it out.

Also want to point out that most of the complaints stem from getting Favors, Kanter & Burks more minutes which again I also would've liked to see but I have two points on that.
First for a lot of the people complaining the only thing that would've had them happy and not complaining about it is if they were getting the majority of the minutes (30+ for Favors, 20+ Kanter and 20+ Burks). If this would've happened I agree we wouldn't be having this thread because the Jazz would've missed the playoffs by more than just one game. Because no team in NBA history with 22-20yr old players getting that many minutes has made the playoffs. As much as I love the young guys and as much as they flash how good they are or could be it is just a fact of the NBA period. Some complaining are probably fine with that but some think the Jazz would be a 3-5 seed if that happened, and who knows maybe it would've but it would've been an NBA first.

Second this isn't a video game you can just plug in a players name for "x" amount of minutes and expect it to be okay. There is a locker room to keep together and in my opinion the hated "vets" is what keeps that together and if you make the vets unhappy by not playing as many minutes as they deserve then again IMO that would've been the quickest way Corbin gets fired because it would've made the locker room a mess. You see what Bell did last year now you do that with a player that is actually good and on on most any other team will be getting 30+min (mainly Al and Millsap) then they are as good as checked out and creating a mutiny.

For the record I would like to think there was a happy medium like Favors, Burks & Kanter all averaged 5min more per game and that would've let them win a few more games and get them more minutes. But for the majority of the people complaining 5min more wouldn't have been enough and they would still be complaining.
