Bleacher Report Should Burn in Hell...

figure bleacherreport.com is written by young or over the hill writers .. the sites complete garbage if you notice they're using teams that aren't doing well in the playoff's or didn't make it .. no negative comments about the teams that are moving on

Whether they called Stockton&Malone the best or the worst, Bleacher Report has no credibility because virtually any joe-schmo can submit something and get it published. Despite paying Turner a ton of money to promote their site, they're still bottom-dwellers when it comes to sports and information. They aren't worth your time and attention.

Stockton and Malone are on the list of 25 most overated stars

https://bleacherreport.com/articles...5-most-overrated-stars-in-nba-history/page/22

The best situation for them agrument is so flawed... any coach that knows how to coach is going to put their best players in the best situation they can. You ahve got to be kidding me. I have yet to find a bleacher report article that sounded intelligent or didn't have red flags.

Oh you mean the one guy that typed up this article should.

Bleacher Report is for the most part a bunch of hacks. I only use the site to help with fantasy football waivers and line ups. Otherwise, pretty much everything they write is just some fan's opinion, without any objectivity. I wouldn't be surprised if the guy who wrote this nonsense had never even watched an entire Jazz game. If he had, he would never have put Stockton on the list. Personally, I don't think Karl is overrated either, but can see slightly more of an argument there (again, I disagree).

You make a good point. I obviously do not think either of them are overrated, but Malone might be a better agrgument. Still, I'm not sure you can call a guy overrated if he only missed like 5 games due to injury in 18 seasons, is 2nd all time in points in NBA history, sported a PER of at least 20 for 16 straight seasons (12 of them were higher than 24), shot 51% from the field for his career, averaged 3.4 assists a game as a PF, averaged 9.8 boards a game for his career, and pretty much improved every year he was in the league. Honestly, you have to be a tard to say that Karl Malone is an overrated star (I'm directing this to the dude who wrote the article.)

They also said that Pistol Pete and Kobe Bryant is overrated.....Let me go find out if my 5 year old is writing articles for the BR....

PP is one they got right. Pistol Pete is often regarded as an all-time great, but his teams never had success.

Or at least, I think that is his narrative.

The one I laughed at the most was Baron Davis. Who the **** rates Baron Davis highly?

I guess then it depends on the overall reasoning behind "overrated"....PP was never considered one of the great players but his style was so unique at the time that he stood out.....Google it, Google it,Google it, Google it,Google it, Google it,Google it, Google it,Google it, Google it,Google it, Google it,Google it, Google it,Google it, Google it,Google it, Google it,Google it, Google it,Google it, Google it,Google it, Google it.

As a former B/r F.C. writer, I feel awful that that crap saw the light of day. Not only were Stockalone considered overrated, so were Kobe, Wilkins, and others. The site has some decent to good writers, but this moron isn't one of them.

Read the comments...they all have better logic than the writer. All seem to agree about Malone and Stockton have no right to be on this list

...yeah, I think Spike Lee and Scoop Jackson (who by the way, also writes for "Hip Hop" magazine!) are main editors and contributors! Both would rather have Allen Iverson or Nate Robinson running there team than Stockton!

Just read the article and here are MY highlights: "Karl Malone is a deserving member of the Hall of Fame and should be present in any rational list of the top 25 players in basketball history. He enjoyed a stellar career, one full of phenomenal performances.... He played in a system tailored for his strengths, was coached by a legend and teamed up with a fellow legend who complement him rather perfectly!

So how in the world is Malone, who is the 2nd leading scorer in NBA history "overrated?"

On to Stockton:"Stockton is a sure-fire Hall of Famer and one of the truly legendary point guards in NBA history. He had an unbelievable career that thrilled many fans around the world and won a whole bunch of games. There's no denying that. Stockton was also the beneficiary of a perfect situation. He played in an ahead-of-its-time pick-and-roll system that perfectly maximized his talents; he teamed up with Malone, who complemented him perfectly. His 15,806 career dimes are virtually untouchable, surpassing everyone else in NBA history by nearly 4,000 assists. However, they're a product of both his passing perfection and the length of his career."

....so "passing perfection" and "length of career" = OVERRATED?
