Favorite Movie Time Snacks

Whether at the theaters or just at home. Im about to watch a movie with the wifey and got all three of my favorites.

-Popcorn popped with an air popper, real melted butter and salt

-Sour Patch Kids

-Red Vines


Anytime I have chocolate and popcorn I get sick. The combination of butter and and the chocolate just do a number on my stomach. If Im not having popcorn and Im at home I love a bowl of Rocky Road Ice Cream.


So what are your go to movie treats/snacks?
 
At the movie theater I always go for chocolates like reeses pieces or m&ms orrrr those butterfinger things and always a soda. I hate popcorn cuz the kernel skin things always get stuck in my teeth and I hate it. In St. Louis there was this theater with those soft pretzels but I haven't noticed any of the theaters in logan or north logan... Sucks. At home it's just whatever is in the fridge or cupboard. If im with the girlfriend we usually pick up some takeout like cafe rio or panda express. Pretty basic stuff I think.

oh, panda express always gotta get the mandarin chicken and chow mein. and cafe rio the barbacoa burrito enchilada style with EVERYTHING. damn im hungry.
 
Used to go with the 14 oz top sirloin but me dude died. Can't stand Smith's stuff so usually get turkey to smoke or take out if lazy.

Sushi is my far and away favorite.. I have it for breakfast probably two or three days per week.... having said that, eating it in a movie theater feels gross to me. I'm not sure why, but movie theaters always seem dirty, sticky, and gross to me... and that doesn't 'go' with sushi, in my book.
 
Has anybody ever been caught sneaking snacks in? I've learned over time that they mostly don't care, but I did try to pants a box of Nutty Bars when I was 12 or 13 and you could totally see the box shape around my groin area and they made me turn in it.

Sour Patch Kids will forever reign as king of movie snacks though. I'm not a fan of popcorn.

Well PKM isn't all that old himself. 41 if I'm not mistaken.

I'll just pick up my things and go. Don't mind me, just an old man trying to make some friends!

I heard a rumor that movie theaters are not allowed to stop you from bringing outside food and drink in. The key is to bring a lady friend with a big nice purse. With my wife there I can sneak in basically anything. From drinks to burritos.
 
I have been known to sneak in a few beers to the movie theater.

Drinking BEFORE a movie is a terrible idea. You get too hyped and want to leave. Drinking during a movie is pretty bawseome though.
