What's new

Pre Season game 2 Jazz @ Blazers---Monday October 11,2010---8:00 pm.

Agreed. Wes is, as usual, playing like he has something to prove... and tonight he's proving it against DWill.

Is that the same DWill I've been watching on Gamecaster shoot 3/4 and get to the line 8 times in 24 minutes with 4 assists? Doesn't sound like he's proving anything good.

I forgot how over dramatic homers the Blazer announcers are, especially the radio guys. Anything the Jazz do is a total stroke of luck.

That's the numbers I see too. Maybe against a stud like Deron it is good defense :D

7:08 UTA - G. Hayward steals the ball from W. Matthews

Uh, oh.

And Aldridge is getting 32+ minutes as well. A 9 man rotation in preseason? What the hell?

Game caster doesn't tell you much at all about the total game though. Mathews played D-Will real tough a lot of plays in a row. Deron has 5 TO's and 3 of those came with wes on him

My Gamecaster is in Hi-Def. And if Matthews wants to play Deron 'real tough' while Deron shoots 3/4, gets to the line 8 times, and dishes out 4 assists, I can live with that.

If you were listening though you would understand what I was saying. Mathews is in almost ever play. On both Offense and Defense not a sequence goes by without Mathews name being mentioned. He now has 16 Points and is playing great D against our best player.

He had one stretch though of foul, technical, turnover, foul in the space of about 1 min in the mid-4th.

Wish we could see the game. Fes appears to be having the game of his life. The rims in Portland must be soft;-)

Neither Fes nor Evans can shoot FT's, though. Did they go to Shaq's big man camp during the summer?
Apparently, neither can Watson.

Here's a scary thought: Sundiata might be our best FT shooter off the bench (LOL!).
