Weren't you also over the moon with Saer Sene? How about Bismack Biombo (or whatever his scrub name is)? I remember people on this board crying that we needed those guys to prove we could "swing for the fences." One out of 10, those will work out for you. Fortunately Rudy is lucky number 10.

You should know by now not to question Orangello. I do remember lots of people wanting Biombo. That was some funny ****.

Jonathon Givony was really high on him, told Locke he was the most likely to be an all star from the class. Draft is a crap shoot, always was, always will be.

I'm all for starting Exum at PG day 1. Even if he doesn't score a single point, he has that "It" factor of running an offense. Plus, I'm not concerned with the PG scoring. That's why I've never been overly enamored with guys like Rose and Westbrook. The only issue now is that Burke doesn't look to be starting material. He would make a great backup, but I don't think that he would settle for that role.

I don't get how anyone says that Exum should start. Is it because of his stellar SL performance or his 1 video on YouTube?

Also I don't see him as a PG and been stating that. He is a combo guard or a ball dominant SG ala Wade, Kobe, etc. I mean he won't be an off the ball player.

Love the Burke hate......

Lol and you think our other option is better? The best players are rarely brought on slowly.

What did you see in him that made you think he was a starting PG? Just curious.

This is just my opinion, but I felt that he almost always made the right pass and was always looking for the open guy, instead of looking for his own shot. I am a little concerned with this shot. However, someone mentioned that it could be due to his poor conditioning at this moment. Also, he is only 19 and hasn't played organized basketball in a long time.

Haha, my bad, I was referring to Burke.

I agree with everything you said about a Exum.

He has to come off the bench and play limited minutes in his first season...I'm not sure he is already ready to handle too much pressure.

I mean the final list will be cut to 12 players. So maybe he won't make the team.

I would be happy to watch him at the FIBA.

First of all he seemed "unripe" at the SL....I don't see a sense to hasten things with him...too much pressure on a player at his age could be counter-productive.

A season of apprenticeship would be good for him...no need to launch him with the starters.

What do you mean by "unripe"? In what ways was he" unripe"?
