Quin Snyder terrifies me and others

Better than a waffle iron. Tell the jazz to get all the season ticket holders a Quin Snyder alarm clock.

Also, was that greg miller sitting behind Quin as he was screaming wake up?

More like a Quin Snyder Ice Pick.

What happened to this little guy?

What I was so shocked about is how he singled out Trey when he was yelling. And finally Trey said **** it all, and went nuckin futs. Trey might need that from time to time.

That's not entirely accurate. I've watched both the video and the gif and I'm pretty sure he is also yelling at Rudy.

If you have League Pass and watch the OKC feed then you can actually hear a bit of what he says because he's right next to the OKC TV guys and their mics pick him up. He says wake up to Trey and then yells Rudy's name and says something else. The OKC TV guys said he also yelled, "Don't worry about the refs! Play!" Maybe that's what he yelled at Rudy in particular because he just picked up the foul?

What impresses me the most is that Quin's reaction seems to have come out naturally, just out of desperation. He could sense everyone was feeling the same way, the players, the rest of the coaching staff, the dead ESA at that point. It was a **** this, I'm not putting up with this s***, not in our house moment, and the players reacted in consequence, showing respect to their coach but most importantly to themselves. The less we see this the better, cause' I have no doubt it will happen again if needed but the pride needs to be within who actually makes the baskets.

Good post, dude.

Yea he does yell at Rudy. But he tells Trey "come on.". And I do believe it woke up Trey. But he was yelling at Rudy as you said.

It's a really nice change of pace to have a coach who can motivate and make an impression on these young kids. Jerry had clearly lost that in his later years. How many post-game interviews did we have to hear him go through his cranky old man routine: "bahh it's not my job to motivate these guys, they get paid a lot of money, they can motivate themselves."

He also singled out Gobert. You can see him yelling "Rudy"

The difference is in team composition. Vets SHOULD be able to motivate themselves. Occasionally, you can kick them in the ***, like I'm sure Sloan did at halftime in the locker room when the need arose. I'm not sure Snyder's public tirade would sit well with a bunch of 30-somethings on the court (or a LBJ, Kobe, etc.). But it certainly did with a group of young players.
