Jazz sign 6'8 forward Paris Bass

    I'd rather have Brandon Bass

Jazz and Knicks discussing Donovan Mitchell trade per Shams Charania and Tony Jones

Yeah, having no post season would mean the regular season is super meaningful. In general, there are three ways to improve the regular season for a sport: 1) No postseason, like most soccer leagues do. Granted, there are things like the Champions league which is like a post-season, but the...

Jazz and Knicks discussing Donovan Mitchell trade per Shams Charania and Tony Jones

The best way to fix this would be to reduce the number of playoff spots to like 4 per conference. Then the regular season has a hell of a lot of meaning. That will never happen, but it would fix it.

Jazz and Knicks discussing Donovan Mitchell trade per Shams Charania and Tony Jones

Depends on the scrappy players. If it's players with some upside sure. If it's a bunch of glorified g-league talent, I'm not watching.

Jazz and Knicks discussing Donovan Mitchell trade per Shams Charania and Tony Jones

If the Jazz don't get any potential talented players, next season is going to be awful. It will be the first season where I won't bother watching games for the most part.

Jazz and Knicks discussing Donovan Mitchell trade per Shams Charania and Tony Jones

I'm not sure. I think the eventual plan is just to have 100 draft picks and a G-League roster. Makes for an exciting 82 game season.

Jones: Bryan Bailey promoted to Lead Assistant, added Sean Sheldon to coaching staff

So if Hardy gets tossed from the game or is sick, who is the head coach for that game? That's how I always defined the Lead Assistant.

Because everyone's dream here seems to be having no good players and a thousand draft picks

He was one of my favorite Jazz players ever, no hyperbole.

    Trade Rumors Involving the Jazz

Trading away Mitchell to get, well, Davion Mitchell and four picks that don't convey until 2026? Is the point to tank attendance next year?

Jazz and Knicks discussing Donovan Mitchell trade per Shams Charania and Tony Jones

I think at one time Hardee's and Carl's Jr were distinct places with separate menus, then they merged but kept the name depending on what side of the Mississippi or Rockies you're on. Just like Best Foods/Hellman's mayo or Dryers/Edys ice cream.

Top 10 Best Jazz Players of All Time (and the rest) - FINAL LIST!!!

I don't think rating him ahead of Okur or Millsap (one of my favorites, but his best career days were in Atlanta, not here) is awful. Neither Jeff Malone. Truck Robinson was really before my time, and looking at his career...he literally played 1.5 seasons with the team. Granted, one season...

Rooting for a listing season and ending up with Dante Exum is the reason I don't root for losing seasons anymore.

I'm sure Don will pitch a massive fit about it, and I would be on his side.

Top 10 Best Jazz Players of All Time (and the rest) - FINAL LIST!!!

Bolerjack - knowing nothing about basketball but calling things. Banging down 3's. Skip passes, mispronounced names, and 50 others. "Mitchell with the 3" (shot is literally 4 feet inside the 3 point line) "Oh, they called it a 2"

Top 10 Best Jazz Players of All Time (and the rest) - FINAL LIST!!!

Well done. Kudos for doing this, I had fun with it. The more interesting thing to me was what constituted a great Jazz player or not. Like I was one of the few votes for Derrick Favors. Yes, I think there were other players better than him to play for the Jazz, even that jerkwad Hayward...
