I think Ainge feels we have too many overlapping players at the guard spot. I think he is looking for the best 2 for 1 move. Hero makes sense, but you can always make a good argument for Jrue. Both are flawed but I think we kind of suck if we just have overlapping semi good players.
Herro is a high percentile shooter. He would make sense playing with Kessler to open up the floor. Sexton, THT are not opening the floor as much as Herro. I don't think the Jazz want to peak so quickly with Jrue.
Idea: Let's get Cy a press pass and have him ask only awkward questions to Collin Sexton all season long.
1st question: So Collin why are you facing backwards on your Instagram? Are you being traded?
Ryan Smith should do his thing. He's sincere. The technology angle is good. He should add a little bit more Tony Robbins in his flair. That kind of stuff would appeal to ambitious young players
Riley is on Ainge's level. He would demand value for Herro. We aren't going to nickel and dime the Heat. If Ainge wants him more than the players we have now and if he wants to do it, then just do it and don't just play chicken with the Heat. He has a ton of draft capital let him shape the...
I would only trade for KPJ if you could waive him immediately. I think Sexton wants to start. If Houston ponies up some nice draft capital it gets tempting.
He is significant player that has made it with bad coaching. Maybe Hardy's staff can unlock more but it is risky. However if he can retain a high value, he might be good in another trade. One more thing, if Lauri likes playing with him then that alone may make it worth it.
