You just proved my point by saying we got the number two player in the draft. I agree! Haha I’m saying he will be great just not rookie of the year. That’s not a knock. Mitchell didnt get rookie of the year and his rookie year was incredible. ROY isnt important anyway. So many amazing players...
I voted Collier at first..before I saw the stats. I changed my mind I think it’s easier for Clayton to learn what Collier does well than the other way around. You can’t teach shooting like that.
At first I was so confused by this pick but thinking about it it makes me excited to watch the jazz next year. How many guys his size can shoot like he can who are crazy athletic? Put him next to Lauri and Kessler and we are huge.
If Ace is off the board though that means Tre is most likely available. If Tre goes three then Edgecombe is available at 5 and we'll take either over the three guys you listed.
IF the Lakers pitch to get Walker are that good maybe you make the trade, pick up Maluach if the jazz think he has potential at 5, and reset the board with those assets.
100% agree Ace Bailey is the worst fit for the Utah Jazz. Even if he was great here, he'd leave or develop tension with the organization in the locker room. I take Tre over him. Tre is a bucket.
The jazz should offload Collin’s and Clarkson, maybe even Sexton. Not Kessler. I don’t see any of these players being part of the future. Unless you can’t get anything of value in return why keep them around?
I haven’t posted on here in ages but had to pipe in because I see no point in trading Ingram when Kessler is involved. Walker could be better than Ingram in two years. Why trade him before seeing his full potential. He didn’t have a great sophomore season but most sophomores don’t. Plus he’s...
The Jazz have a ton of incentive to trade Lauri. The following years draft will be stacked and we’d have loads and loads of assets. I hate seeing the jazz tank another year and I love Lauri…but if it’s just one more it’s worth it.
the general consensus im gathering from jazz fans is that they prefer Donovan to be traded but I still can’t fully grasp why. Small markets don’t come across a guy like Donovan very often. He’s very talented, great on and off the court. He hasn’t asked for a trade. We haven’t really had a team...
The knicks have zero leverage. Donovan’s value won’t drop if I’m Ainge I just hold off. Donovan will hold his value and the knicks will look ridiculous if they don’t make a deal happen. They can’t afford to miss out on another all star and more importantly all knicks fans want a deal.
Imagine the reaction if the Knicks don’t get him. Please spare me with we don’t have the leverage bs. We supposedly didn’t have any leverage in the Gobert discussions either.
I was thinking about that too haha they will be even more of a laughing stock than they already are. Stephen A Smith’s...
