I mean, they effectively have traded a bunch of vets by just not playing them for long stretches. I'd expect some of them to get moved, can't imagine Collins/Clarkson/sexton are happy.
I like Walker, but don't mind trading him if we're trying to tank another year or two because we lose so much value on his rookie deal. I'm less sold on him seeming as good when he's getting paid 25m/yr or more.
I kinda think the jazz should try to sell Kessler at the deadline - he seems like he will lose a lot of value on his second contract, and could fetch a premium asset right now as a high level contributor on a rookie deal.
Being forced to tank again next year to keep the pick really pushes hard...
The more I've watched Johnson, the less I like him. Just does not get nearly enough separation for me to be comfortable. Totally agree that missing the top 4 would suck.
We are trying to get a good price on anyone talented. Don't think it's a bad plan, even if it results in a lot of kicking the tires on guys who might not have worked out great.
Flagg looks way more comfortable as a roller than a handler in those highlights to me. Would be sort of scared of taking him hoping he's a number one option even though you probably have to do it.
