Burying the dumb **** about Clayton Jr not being "athletic"

I can't believe there ever was a narrative that he's not athletic. In college he had some incredible finishes around the rim where he hangs in the air for what seems like ages... He kind of reminds me of Jamal Murray in that specific regard.

    Rookie Contract Power Rankings

Yeah... and... furthermore... even if he's a game manager, he needs to be at a really high level with his decision making and ball-security to be able to get away with just being a game manager. And he's still turning the ball over at alarming rates even against lower level competition.

    Rookie Contract Power Rankings

I've been... very disappointed by what I've seen from Collier. I don't see much of any improvement in his game and the primary reason for optimism with him has always relied on him showing significant improvement in his shooting and ball security. If he doesn't improve he's not a starter and...

    Clayton or Collier?

I've been a big fan of how Collier has handled himself throughout that year and how he fought for and won the starting job, but unless he massively improves his shooting, I feel like Walt is a much more seamless fit with ... any team really. His on-ball game is already plenty impressive, but...

It's not just that he's small... it's that ... he looks so awkwardly jittery and inefficient with his movement. Rudy is the perfect mentor for Berigner on so many levels. I agree that he might need a year or two but holy hell does he look impressive as a rim protector. He looks like... Rudy 11 years ago in SL.
