Also... I freaking love Fears.... I'm still semi-disappointed we didn't draft him.

Beringer is the best big in the draft. I've seen enough.

Yeah, he did attack the rim on some of the other rebounds he got and he looked incredibly athletic doing it, but on those there wasn't even a hint of resistance or contact waiting for him. He needs to get better and more confident with bodies around him in the paint because he has some great...

NBA Summer League Wild Overreaction Thread

I have only watched a few lowlights(not full games), but some of the things I worried the most with Kas are in full display in that setting and I think it will get worse in the NBA. All the crafty little things he used to do to gain an advantage and in most cases barely make the play are no...

NBA Summer League Wild Overreaction Thread

I thought the one legged fade away jumper after the rebound was kind of emblematic of some of his most serious problems... he got the rebound very close to the rim and instead of finishing there... or trying to draw a foul in a position where the defense is compromised... he stepped back and...

Game Thread Jul 08, 2025 07:00pm: Thunder Vs Jazz (Summer League)

In previous years it always seemed like the "vets"(second and third year players) would play the first 2 or 3 games and then they would sit so the rookies and players fighting for actual roster spots can play...

Utah Jazz Select Walter Clayton Jr, Pick 18 (Trade)

Maybe small guards will become NBA's version of running backs... super fun, super explosive... not very valuable... lower paid... drafted for their rookie deals and then discarded? At least majority of them...

    How bad/good is Cody Williams?

THe good thing with Cody is... there really isn't anywhere but up for him to go. Lets hope he shows enough improvement in SL to give us some hopes for the time being.

Salt Lake City Summer League: July 5-8 @ Huntsman Center

He's not been a grad assistant. He's got an offer for that, which he hasn't accepted it seems... This would have been a great first coaching job for him... No, I'm not trying to argue anything, except... neither of them would be where they are(or in similar position) except for who they are...

Salt Lake City Summer League: July 5-8 @ Huntsman Center

He's not there to play basketball. He's there to coach... which he has never done until now. Great to have your first coaching job be in the NBA. But again... I don't blame him or Zaher for any of this. It's others that have turned the Jazz into Nepo Town.

Salt Lake City Summer League: July 5-8 @ Huntsman Center

It's only natural. This organization has sent a very obvious signal that we don't mind nepotism... from the very top of the organization to the very bottom. I find it hard to have a huge problem with Cooper and Zaher who will very likely be gone in a month, when our owner hires his BYU budies...

    2025 Free Agency Thread

Yah... we won't be as bad as last year, but IMO it's still feasible. Especially if we play both rookies a ton of minutes. For as promising as Collier and Flip looked last year, they still were losing players, too... Also, keep in mind the competition. Who in the west are we supposed to be better...

Us telling teams "we are good giving up useful players and attaching picks to them, just to get them off the team" probably is not great for the potential value of players like Collins. My guess is... if we trade him, we will trade him for another hugely disappointing return(probably will have...

Collin Sexton traded to Charlotte Hornets for Jusuf Nurkic

I'm calling my shot too... Nurkic is here to stay... at least for the time being. This move makes a lot of sense if you look at it from the view point of roster construction - what we had a lot and what we were missing - tons of combo guards, not enough centers. I think Ainge is building a team...
