    Derek Chauvin Murder Trial

Yep. Cops are trained to be prepared to shoot a knife suspect within 21 feet of the cop or a potential victim. The principle being that someone can get to you in 1.5 seconds with a knife, which is less time than it takes an average cop to draw and fire unaimed shots. When cases like this get...

    Coronavirus

Weird. I read others had a metallic taste like nickels in their mouth. Had not seen any one else with the side effects you are having.

If you can, get the second shot early in the morning as possible. That way when potential symptoms start, you'll be able to sleep through the first big part of it...

    Give Ersan favors’ minutes

At this point it is about the long game. Ersan won't replace Favors, and we may not win as many games with Ersan in the lineuo. I'd still play Favors to keep him in rhythm, but cut his minutes down and give him some nights off. The bonus of having Ersan in rhythm for the playoffs if needed...

    Give Ersan favors’ minutes

Agreed, but Favors needs more rest with his back issues. I'd say play Ersan more at least until close to playoff time and then we'll have both healthy and in rhythm.

    Coronavirus

I had the 2nd Pfizer dose on the 12th. I ached all over and was tired the next day but didn't feel "sick". The 2nd day I was still really tired, but overall not bad. My wife worked the day after dose 2 while also aching and feeling exhausted. Glad it wasn't worse. Many of her co-workers had zero...

Voter Suppression and Why The Republicans Love It So Much?

I recall reading the new law requires ID for in person and mail (have to put in your ID # or send a photo of a different ID or last 4 of SSN. Previously in GA you only needed ID for in person). The previous signature requirement for absentee/mail-in ballots was a problem, as they tried to match...

    Sous Vide

I've had a different experience. I don't mind the sous vide, but find I get as better product using my oven with high quality cuts. My oven thankfully heats very consistent and even. I have a sear burner on my grill that finishes perfectly. I tend to only buy prime meat, usually porterhouse. I...

    Sous Vide

For cheap steaks, sous vide is great as it breaks down tough meat and makes it more tender. Also works well on chicken. For a good choice or prime ribeye, porterhouse (NY/fillet) use the reverse sear method after salting the meat uncovered in a clean fridge for at least 24 hours (get a meat...

Matty took a lot of shots before the rest of the team camr out of the tunnel at half time. Missed the majority of his shots from 15 feet out. Doesn't mean much, but surprised he wasn't hitting more consistent warm up shots for a supposed dead-eye shooter.

That is what I was alluding to about hero ball. Even may be successful against the blender, but we won't know if they keep chucking w 15 seconds on the shot clock. I loved the old UCLA and motion due to all the back cuts. Wore our defenders. Wish we employed more off ball movement.

True. I am not knocking Rudy, just poiting out CP3 has his #. He knows how to score on him. It is simply a bad matchup.

Quin's offense does not do as well for teams that switch aggressively and are good at mitigating screens. Rudy's big *** screens are the facilitator for a lot of offense. The Suns did a great job of avoiding them. I wish the Jazz had better on ball ability to slip screens. Chris Paul has...

I also blame to much "hero ball" mentality early in the shot clock. It becomes contagious. The last couple games have been very stagnant on offense and defense. Open shots were also not falling last night, but there was a lot of bad decision making.

Phx is a great switching team on D, and they have been well coached and how to mitigate on ball screens. Teams that do this seem to be anathema for the Jazz.

Voter Suppression and Why The Republicans Love It So Much?

I don't disagree that many of these laws make it harder to vote. Factually voter fraud does occur, at what ratr and whether it has effected any outcome is unclear, and would be hard to prove in many instances. I'd suspect the large majority of fraud is undetected or can't be traced to the...
