Dante Exums new book coming soon - "50/7 easiest way to heaven"

Yup I remember the DMX duo nick name after the Jazz drafted Donovan Mitchell. In theory it was an ideal starting back court a long defender that could help handle the ball, basically Royce O'Neal role but with a lot more ball handling ability.

Only read the first page so someone may have already said this but, are you thinking of Chandler Parsons? A player many on here wanted over Hayward.

I can't remember how long I've yelled at the TV and at the Jazz for their VERY poor long rebounding. During the game I yell at every player for either not hustling to gang rebound (looking at Ingles mostly) or how many players get sucked in too close to the rim (Rudy sometimes is under the rim)...

    Mitchell injury

Yesterday it was announced that both Mitchell and Conley are still out, same news that said Udoka is probable for tomorrow (now today) against DNV But he did give the keynote speech last night for the University of Utah's commencement speech to the graduating class

    What Became of Player Development?

I couldn't quite place it until last night but Forrest's shot has a little Ball brothers/Haliburton (Sacto rookie) look and feel to it. But yeah for an undrafted rookie he is basically exceeding realistic expectations, if he can turn into a guard (PG/SG) version of Royce that would be a huge...

Quotes from Spurs' forums-"Jazz sure do have a monopoly on frumpy players with flabby dad bods. It’s inspiring, really"

I think some Spurs fans have always appreciated Gobert more than most fan bases, I believe it started because of Tony Parker and hoping he'd be able to get Gobert to go to Spurs. Similar to but not to the same extent as appreciating Ingles because they have Patty Mills.

    What Became of Player Development?

I thought someone in here would comment on how well Forrest played on Sat. guess this is a bitchfest only thread As far as Conley, some people are a bit fickle and some I imagine it is holding fast to their feelings last year and/or the trade price, obviously he is a huge contributing reason...

MIN was very physical, heck in the post game you could see Conley's lip had been hit pretty good. This is more just me thinking out loud and not stating an opinion ... you can almost say the Jazz' TO's are the cause for the injury issues right now. When Mitchell got hurt I think it was off a...

Also, IMO Clarkson's biggest (positive) contribution to the last game was his assists. Also thank you Jingles for posting that tweet about the Jazz shots, it helps validate what I thought I was seeing watching the game. Yes some of MIN shooters (like Okogie) were left wide open most of the...

Yep Stock said it best in regards to the championship runs and falling short... can't find the exact quote but it has been repeated enough.... that you have to enjoy the journey and implying that if you're not happy without it, you won't be with it.

I was as pissed as anyone watching the game on Saturday, also largely why I wasn't getting online to post until today. To me the Jazz defense was fine overall, it was the offense crapped the bed, then laid down rolled in the crap that then caused them to puke all over themselves that then tried...

    Mitchell injury

It was right about this time last Friday when Mitchell sprained his ankle. Although I'm guessing the soonest they mention anything will be tomorrow and it will be something along the lines of, he's healing and progressing as expected and they will re-evaluate at the end of the week.

Early in the year the PHI PR machine was pushing for Embid to be DPOY but once it became clear he was playing his way into MVP it shifted to them pushing Simmons for DPOY. I wish someone in the national media would troll Embid and PHI the way Embid trolls and ask him how come PHI doesn't fill...

That is part of what I was referencing in my previous comment about wanting to read/hear more about how this came about. My guess is it had something to do with Ryan Smith reaching out to gauge interest, possibly after Wade may have put out "feelers" to let people know he was interested in...
