Flip between CNN and MSNBC. Mix in a little Fox news for laughs. Keep your Twitter and Facebook feeds active too.
I know which one you should watch. Don't listen to anyone else, if you know what's good for you.

Life is like watching Fast and the Furious 6. It's not easy, most of the time it's just dumb and pointless, everything is fake, there is a lot of noise, but if you close your eyes and picture yourself in an open field or a quiet forest, you can maybe make it to the end without killing yourself.
I found myself watching PBS election coverage for a bit. Way to boring and switched to CNN.
Probably the best answer that hasn't been said yet is Comedy Central.
