Liberals are hopeless when it come to basic math.
Yes make it a long break please.
Maybe a nap would be a good idea too chum.
Wait, so I'd likely pay negative money to have a baby!
No according to you, you're not paying for it at all............................. Just because you don't have to pay for something automatically means it's free to you and you're fairy tale Bernie land supporters.
So not only are you number illiterate, your reading comprehension is nonexistent too!
I'll keep that in mind in all future interactions with you.
Can you explain what "NAOS nows how to spell it" means?
I'm talking about Bernie saying the average birth will cost $0. You're covering for an obvious lie. There were no ifs, ands, or buts to what he tweeted.
"Average cost of childbirth with Medicare for All: $0"
He's talking and lying ($32000 is not the current average) about total cost. This is self explanatory when he lies that the "average cost is currently $32,000. $32,000 is a total cost, he's saying with his plan it will be $0 total cost. You and your "I'm putting you on ignore" minions are trying to stick up for an absolutely uneducated and ridiculous lie.
You really do need that nap.
Anyway, I already conceded in my very first response to you that the way he presented it is misleading.
For some reason you are insistent that we are arguing for a fantasy version of M4A you've imagined in your head.
More like mob but yeah.
And thanks! I have nothing more to say. You just agreed with my entire point that's his tweet is a lie and misleading. I honestly have nothing more to say. Cheers!
Weird that you didn't pick up on that two pages ago.
Yup missed it while dealing with NAOS, my bad. Glad you agree.
Now that the far less interesting part of the debate is cleared up, I'm curious why you think M4A won't be an improvement over the system we currently "enjoy."
It mathematically makes zero sense to me economically. When our government is already 16 trillion in debt, I'm suppose to believe that adding tens of trillions more to that is a great idea? Hell with my current wages I will be paying more and I will not be able to stick with the doctors when everything is government run. Look at the VA and the failure that has become.
Look at government run things like social security a majority of us will never see. These same people that stole and mismanaged our SS are going to suddenly run a legit healthcare plan? In what flipping universe? What happens when the government runs out of our money? What happens when the rich move away to save half their income? We become Venezuela or Cuba. Money doesn't just grow on trees
I'm all for better healthcare but when the ones selling it to us have to lie about it(if you like your plan, $0 births) I'm not buying it. Financially it just doesn't make sense and many experts even on the left agree. This is going to cost tens of trillions, all while the same person is screaming free college, and 30+ trillion environment spendings.
Taxing the rich will not pay for all this. Taxing you and me to oblivion still won't imo.
If everyone is on Medicare, all Drs will take Medicare. Why couldn’t you keep them?
Why couldn't I under Obama?
Why can't they in Canada unless they wait 4+ weeks?
First question has little bearing on what I said. Do you know Canadians can’t?
You are assuming that this program will increase the debt, why do you think this is the case? Insurance companies are highly profitable, and that's with their enormous administrative costs which would be cut down tremendously in a single payer system.
Why isn't the fear that we will become Canada or Scandinavia? Or to put it another way, why haven't their single payer systems turned them into Cuba or Venezuela?
That number sounds scary until you consider we're currently spending more than that on healthcare under our current system. So it's actually less sustainable longterm.
Canadians can but the wait times are extremely long.
As far as Obamacare why couldn't I chose my doctors when all doctors were part of ACA? You asked why I couldn't if all doctors were on Medicaid but I forsee a similar forecast. Look at the VA and ACA. It's no longer a free market. I was told which doctors to see under ACA
You could also be told which doctors to see before ObamaCare. HMO's weren't created by ObamaCare. This could happen to anyone at any time if their employer switched insurance providers or if you switched jobs. Another problem solved by single payer.
