Alec Burks Finally makes the Rookie Ladder!

I raved about Parsons. In fact, I think I was the only one who raved about him and said we should have bought a late 1st or traded for an early 2nd to get him. Dude is so skilled. And according to one analyst I heard recently, he's played the "best defense on Kevin Durant (he's) ever seen anyone play."

Imagine Parsons as our future 3.

Durant shot 12/26 and 8/18 against the Rockets this season. Curiously, OKC lost both games. Hmm. Id love to see Houston get an 8th seed, and match up with them. See what happens.

Regardless, Durant shot 6 for 22 against the Jazz 1-2 weeks ago. Id say that that is a better defending performance than either of Chandlers's.

I'm telling you what an analyst (it may have been JVG) said. And Durant's numbers may be more of a result of our team defense and being at home in that game rather than how one of our players d'ed him up.

Thats fair. I'll definitely pay some close attention to Parsons from here on in, see how he progresses. I definitely think that Hayward is no scrub at defending though, especially against some of the star players like Kobe, Wade, and Durant. Only SFs I see him having trouble with are players like Crash, Melo, and LeBron.

I am noticing a trend of Utah beginning to get some attention and turn some heads. During the preseason the experts were predicting Utah would be a basement dweller and amoung the worst in the NBA. Well they have gone on a tear and are now the 7th seed. T hey are still in the fight and ahave a real chance of getting an even higher seed.
