If I had no ability to put myself in others shoes, I wouldn’t be tipping $10 for a guy to deliver food for 10 minutes. I’m not making myself out to be a hero. But that’s more than I or most usually give. It’s a job that requires no skill beyond driving a car and being able to pick up or put down a box.

And by the way, I’m so bad at putting myself in others shoes, it’s why I’m sending $300 cash to the mom of my ex-student whose father died from Covid. I suck at life and can’t empathize.
