The Utah Jazz’s NBA 2K team will appear on ESPN2 twice
Jazz Gaming — the Utah Jazz’s NBA 2K20 team — will appear in two national television games this week.
What’s happening:
- Jazz Gaming will be featured in two broadcasts of the NBA 2K League, which airs on ESPN2.
- Jazz Gaming will face Kings Guard Gaming (Sacramento Kings) on Thursday, May 28, at 7 p.m. MDT.
- The team will play Blazer5 Gaming (Portland Trail Blazers) on Friday, May 29, at 7 p.m. MDT.
- Jazz Gaming won its season debut against Magic Gaming (Orlando Magic) last week. Rookie point guard Kimanni “Splashy” Ingram greened a 3-point shot to win Game 1 of the best-of-three series. The team won its second game by 20 points to sweep the series.
- Center Spencer “Ria” Wyman — the No. 1 pick in the 2019 NBA 2K League Draft — is currently averaging 20.5 points and 15.5 rebounds for the Jazz Gaming squad two games into the season.
- “I’m proud of the way we competed as a team in our debut,” Jazz Gaming Head Coach Jelani “Comp” Mitchell said in a statement. “We’re building team chemistry here in Utah and we have two great tests against the Kings and Blazers this week under the bright lights of national television.”
- Utah Jazz Gaming can be viewed on ESPN2, ESPN’s digital platforms, Sportsnet (Canada), Twitch and YouTube.
