The 2020 NBA “offseason” is officially here, even if it’s a few months later than expected due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Trades started happening Monday, with star players such as Chris Paul and Jrue Holiday getting moved. Wednesday is the annual draft, where the Utah Jazz have the 27th and 38th picks after sending the 23rd pick to the New York Knicks. Utah natives Sam Merrill and Yoeli Childs could also hear their names be called. Free agency then opens on Friday.

The Deseret News has you covered with all of the events as the NBA gears up to start the 2020-21 season on Dec. 22.
