Yeah great, 6 months from now the SOB will probably walk out in front of my car at 2 in the morning when I'm trying to drive home with a buzz on.

This is one reason I like having dogs. One more layer of food supply during the zombie apocalypse before I have to start eating my kids.

That's understandable. I watched the pilot episode of "Bow Hunting your Neighbor" recently. Fun stuff. Gotta love reality TV. I knew it was only a matter of time...

On a less serious note, if anyone here actually enjoys animals, which I highly doubt, the PBS 3 part series "Rare: Creatures of the Photo Ark" is being broadcast this summer. Guy's gotta be the best wildlife portrait photographer in the world...

I enjoy them with all manner of seasoning... The deer the sausages came from was actually skinned, butchered and made by my girlfriend.

A close friend of mine and his father bowhunt in season, and provide us with several venison steaks every year, which we freeze and enjoy during the Winter months....

I do still prefer beef, but, unfortunately, the farmer gets pissed when we bowhunt his stock....

Getting clean kills with a bow is damn hard. Planning on going hunting later in the year with a mate who's a professional hunter, should be fun.
