We already knew he has been our clutch time leader, but ESPN put some stats around that eye-test intuition in their current Power Ranking (Jazz #15):

The Jazz saw their 11-game win streak snapped, but have still won 12 of their past 13 games. Down the stretch, Utah has really relied on rookie Donovan Mitchell. According to NBA advanced stats, Mitchell has recorded a 41.9 percent clutch time usage percentage this season. The only players with a higher percentage (minimum 50 clutch minutes)? They are all 2018 All-Stars: LeBron James, Kyrie Irving, James Harden, Russell Westbrook and DeMar DeRozan. -- Matt Williams

Hope we can all remember this when Donovan has his occasional game from hell. There are several key learning and growing points in the season for rookies. I think Mitchell is pushing through the "wall" when the number of pro vs. college games catches up to them. Another is the post all-star push for the playoffs, when coaches shorten their rotations and the games become more intense, especially on the defensive end.
