he is showing he is better than big al.
corbins magical vet power theory might be disproved. we cant have that now can we

Clearly making Kanter play less is the reason his stats are looking so good.

I say just bench him every chance we have. Imagine his p48 stats if he only played 2 minutes a night!

I sit and watch Jazz games all the time. According to Corbin's 'growth' strategy of making players sit and watch games instead of playing them, I should pretty much be an all star right now.

Damn, even Triston Thompson is averaging nearly double double and improving match by match but Kanter holds towel for big Al. I am sure TT, Valanciunas, Biyombo all thank god not to be playing for Jazz

I don't think you guys understand - sure Corbin could play Kanter and make the Jazz better but it is important that Al Jefferson gets a ton of playing time so that he can develop.

I hope kanter will get traded soon and can show his butt to the jazz front office and corbin once he makes multiple all-star teams playing for an other team. that's all i wish.

Most of Kanter's efficiency comes from easy weak side putbacks. If the Jazz can run then Kanter clearly should play over Jefferson. If they can't run then it's tougher to increase efficiency wtih him in the game.

I'd also like to see more cleanup by design plays when Jeffy is on the low block. He could throw up a shot over a triple team and call it an assist if Kanter is in the vicinity bearing down. Kid has a ridiculous nose for the ball, even in long rebounds which is much rarer.

I'm not going to go through the game logs, but that's unlikely over the stretch in question. Dude has 12 O-boards and 23 buckets. Even if he converted every O-board he grabbed into a basket, he'd still be 11-23 from the field and 6-8 from the line for a TS% of .528 (we could, of course, consider the possibility that he converts all his O-boards into buckets, with 8 of them generating and1's, but that's even more absurd).

edit: It's worth noting that as of January 28th, Kanter had the highest eFG% on jumpers among the Jazz's 4 bigs per 82games.com.

Bumped so I don't have to search for this pile of **** when I have time to nuke it.

Here's a hint, comparing two players' per 36 is complete garbage when their actual minutes per game are on opposite ends of the spectrum. Nice analysis, Goebels.

Yawn.

You're a ****ing disease. Goebels, eh? You should be ashamed of yourself.

I just posted the numbers. There's no additional analysis. That raw data offends you says a whole lot more about you than it does about me.

If he gets traded and Burks, then I'm done with the Jazz. I've just about had it, as it is. They just keep trading away all their good players or letting them walk instead of finding way to build around them and adding better pieces. And what are they drafting these guys for, to sit on the bench? Who's responsible Corbin, KOC, Greg? I wish I knew. It's very frustrating. About the only guy they've kept that they should have, is Millsap.
