But now teams defenses butt rush the 3 point line and collapse hard on layups.

A pros pro would take what the defense gives him to loosen up the D. A principled man would continue to do what statistically makes sense.

Offensively? Every team leaves us the mid range but we refuse to shoot it. When donovan hits a few jumpers he gets hot and his confidence grows. Let him have 3 mid range jumpers for rhythm and to loosen up the defense please.

Last year Donovan was very effective from mid-range and it opened up the floor for him. No idea why he isn't working for easier shots. Seems to be stuck in hero ball mode.
