    Actually, this isn't the worst thing that could happen. Lottery picks get lottery contracts. That eats into the bottom line The question is: do you believe in our core? If we have a future superstar core, we don't need more stars, we need solid backup players who accept the fact that they are backups and own it.

    Yeah, I've always said I'd only play the lottery if it was like a $175,000 jackpot. The burden of paying taxes on millions sounds like too much hassle. I mean I already have a car, house and other cool stuff. What do I need with nicer cars or a house.

    This. I predict a pick from 12-15. It depends what happens with the Lakers....as much as I hate them, they're not a lotto team.

    2013 draft pool is weaker than recent years' drafts. I am not sure it's advantage to draft a role player and wait him for some years to contribute. For the jazz, draft is like obligation. You draft and make them sit down till they perish.
