Im sick of it
The vets playing so much and The Four playing so little.
I know, broken record blah blah balh bite me bitches
Hang in there bro. I pretty sure (80%) that we'll trade Millsap for something good before the trade dateline. That's less than a month away.
Plus we oughta get someone decent from our 2 draft picks this year.
Favors, Kanter & Hayward are developing nicely.
We're in a holding pattern right now, but we have lots to look forward to.
Thanks man, would rep but cant
Also i agree about the "lot to look forward to" part, im just getting impatient/frustated
With the way the new CBA is looking and how valuable cap space is, I'm not sure we trade Milsap or Jefferson. Really pessimistic about a trade happening especially since Pau Gasol played really well today.
Yeah I was feeling the same thing. Then I'm reminded that the trade dateline is looming and KOC/Lindsey are not stupid enough to let it pass without getting anything in return. I'm positive they'll at least get a future 1st or a decent young player out of Millsap.
Not getting it.....
If Pau played terrible today and the Lakers lost, they'd be much more likely to trade Pau. If the Lakers trade Pau, the Jazz can get in that somehow.
I'd rather do a trade with say the Bobcats who have x2 first round picks this year and in need of a PF vet who can help the young team grow.
Millsap + Burks for Portland's 1st (via Bobcats) + fillers
I can't see the Jazz making a big trade with the Lakers.
We would most likely have to take back Tyrus Thomas. Do you want that? I'd do it. But I don't think you think these things through.
??? We're not wanting their pick. We're wanting Porland's pick. That's not worth taking back Thomas. Millsap + Burks sounds about right, plus fillers to make up numbers, say Diop.
Portland is .500 right now. They are probably going to be around this number all season long. You want to trade Millsap and Burks for a low lottery pick? That doesn't make any sense to me. Why would I want to give up on Burks when I don't even know what he has? Horrible.
Well we already have our pick #17 and GS pick #24. If we can get Portland's #14 and somehow use those 3 picks and move up to get a legit talent in the top 3, I think I'd do it. Cleveland is picking #3 and Phoenix is picking #4 right now, I think they could use more talent. Especially Phoenix, they just need "bodies" right now IMO.
That's all speculation. What I see in front of me is trading Millsap and Burks for the number 14 pick, and that's a horrible move.
Fine, change it to Millsap for #14 pick then. Rich Cho would hang up, but I guess if it makes you happy...
I'm absolutely done with every starter on our team.
Im sick of people acting like the sky is falling because we lose 1 game.
I enjoy it.
Do you really want to trade Millsap and keep Jefferson?
