SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Utah Jazz continue to update their look for the 2020-21 season. Soon after unveiling their updated City Edition jerseys, the Jazz offered a sneak peek of their newest court design.

Like the new gradient jerseys, the Jazz new court features the team’s yellow to black stripes making up the painted key under each basket. The state of Utah logo featuring the seams of a basketball is painted at half court, while the sidelines also feature the color variation.

The court will replace the team’s former City Edition court that featured Moab’s Delicate Arch.

The yellow to black update marks “the evolution of the gradient, red-rock theme of our iconic original City uniform,” according to the team’s website.

The Jazz’s original City Edition jerseys featured the state of Utah logo on the waistline of the shorts. Now, that logo has swapped places with the Delicate Arch silhouette that resides on the updated waistline, rather than the court.

The team first unveiled the City edition uniforms in 2017 in a new marking campaign with Nike to highlight the unique qualities of every host city.

In a statement, Nike said it wanted to celebrate “the fans — those who, 41 times a year, take pilgrimage at their local arena, and whose passions help define each respective team’s identity,”

The NBA season is set to open on December 22, with players reporting for individual workouts before training camp on December 1.
