SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Local Utah sports teams took to social media on Sunday to show appreciation for mothers on Mother’s Day.
The posts showed appreciation for all that mothers do, including coaches on sports teams that fans cheer for on game day.
Here are the social media posts from the local sports teams on Mother’s Day.
Utah Jazz forward Joe Ingles posted an appreciation to his wife Renae.
Players from Real Salt Lake wished their mothers a Happy Mother’s Day in a video that played during the broadcast on Friday and posted on Twitter on Sunday.
Utah football wished all of the moms out there a happy Mother’s Day.
Same with the Utah men’s basketball team.
The Utah women’s basketball team shared photos of some of their players with their mothers, including Dru Gylten, Kemery Martin, Ines Vieira and Donna Ntambue.
Utah also posted a photo of two coaches with their children. Head coach Lynne Roberts with her two sons after winning her 300th career game. Also, assistant coach Danyelle Grant is celebrating her first Mother’s Day.
