SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Salt Lake City Stars will return to Utah to play their home games during the 2021-22 G League season.

The 2019-20 G League season ended abruptly in March of 2020 after the COVID-19 pandemic swept across the United States. Earlier this year, the Stars were one of 18 teams that traveled to Orlando to compete in a 15-game season inside the Walt Disney World Resort bubble.

Now, nearly a year and a half since they last played in Utah, the Stars have announced dates to return to their home arena.

The Stars owned the best record in the Western Conference before the season was canceled in 2019. The team struggled inside the Orlando bubble, finished with a 4-11 record after Jazz first-round pick Udoka Azubuike suffered a severe ankle injury in the opening game of the season.

The Stars bubble roster also featured players from the Milwaukee Bucks and Dallas Mavericks organization as neither team sent their G League affiliate to Orlando.

Season tickets for the 2021-22 campaign are on sale now. Season ticket members are guaranteed the same seats for the playoffs, best ticket prices and exclusive benefits like meet-and-greets with the Stars players and other member-only events.
