SALT LAKE CITY – The Utah Jazz fell to the Phoenix Suns 113-112 to drop their fourth straight game.

Jordan Clarkson scored 22 points while Collin Sexton added 20, but it wasn’t enough to overcome Deandre Ayton’s 29 point, 20 rebound performance.

With the loss the Jazz fell to 12-10 on the season.

First Quarter​


The Jazz jumped out to a quick start behind Kelly Olynyk’s seven early points.

The Suns were cold from the three-point line missing all six of their first attempts in the period.

Jordan Clarkson added seven points for the Jazz while Mikal Bridges and Devin Booker had six for the Suns.

After one the Jazz led Phoenix 32-22.

Second Quarter​


The Suns opened the quarter on a 24-12 run to erase the Jazz double-digit lead.

Lauri Markkanen scored a career-high 38 points in the two teams’ last meeting but managed just one first-half point in Phoenix.

Jordan Clarkson had 12 and Collin Sexton had 11 to lead the Jazz while Deandre Ayton scored 11 for the Suns.

At the break, the Jazz led the Suns 54-51.

Third Quarter​


The Suns took the lead midway through the third quarter once the Jazz starters moved to the bench.

However, the Jazz used a late 9-2 run to erase the Suns advantage.

Through three Clarkson had 18 points and Sexton had 16 to lead the Jazz.

After three the Jazz led the Suns 81-78.

Fourth Quarter​


The Suns opened the quarter on a 21-12 run to take a six-point lead midway through the period.

The Jazz struggled to get rebounds in the fourth quarter allowing the Suns to get multiple looks at the rim on nearly every possession down the floor.

The Suns went cold late in the quarter as the Jazz cut the lead to just one, but couldn’t overcome the deficit.

The Utah Jazz fell in Phoenix to the Suns 113-112.
