The problem was Neto and Lyles, especially Lyles because it was a complete mismatch with him guarding LA. Quin should've started Burks and Booker, to have any chance in that game. But I guess he was hoping they would step up, and that it also would be a good learning experience. Sometimes you learn more from your failures and losses than your victories. This game should show, especially Lyles, how far he needs to go to become a good player.
This was a throw away game. Second night of a back-to-back after a tough OT loss in OKC. There is a reason why the little used bench guys like Ingles, Millsap, Withey, and Johnson were the ones with the most energy.
Yes, Gordo...the guy who is going to want $25-$30M in 2 years. Don't care if it was back-to-back.Max players who are supposed to be team leaders need to bring it every night. Hayward isn't worth it. He's not a #1 option. He's not worth what he is getting and what he'll want. I know I'll get flamed for this, but if I were DL, I'd shop him right now to get maximum value.
