There are plenty of reasons for Hayward to stick around in Salt Lake City to see out the rebuilding process he helped begin, and it's impossible to say from the outside which city and team would make him happiest. But as far as the ability to win, it looks as though signing with the Celtics gives Hayward the best opportunity.

Jazz would be projected to win 54 games if they retain everyone and don't add another piece.

Heat would be projected to win 49 games if they retained everyone and added Hayward.

Celtics would be projected to win 56 games if they added Hayward and traded Smart to make room for him.

He posted the WARP numbers for all three teams and discussed variance based on whether George Hill re-signs, etc.

If Gordon leaves I would love to see him choose Miami over Boston. I don't think i'd even be that mad.

Only 3 more wins seems a little low. Better health alone would seem to add at least 5 more wins for the Jazz.

It's a little too early to be predicting wins, and I don't think regular season wins are really the goal.

Pelton explained that some players have lower projected WARP than what they should have because of how they played last year due to injures. He used Favors as an example of last year when he only played 50 games and only had a 1.4 WARP.

I wonder if he factored in the IT injury and fact that he will need a new hip but is clearly hiding that info.
