Let's see if this happens tomorrow.
EDIT- Called it!
bro why so ambiguous
Weezur, you're on top of things. I just barely saw Adrian Wojnarowski's tweet about this now. I hadn't heard anything previously.
I'm excited to have a team back in Seattle but Kings fans are getting messed over. No worries though because I don't like many of them.
Will there be a division realignment coming?
Thunder owners wouldn't give up their former name would they? I loved the Seattle Supersonics name. I also like Sacramento Kings. It would suck to see them move. Although I found this out:
Strange coincidence or am I ignorant at some point..
I doubt it since there are already cases of teams being in divisions that don't make much sense, like the Timberwolves and Thunder being in the Northwest division. I'd love to see the Thunder go to the Southwest division, both because that makes sense geographically and because it would get them out the same division as the Jazz. But there wouldn't really be any logical candidates to move to the Pacific division.
Any Seattle-based team can use the Supersonics name. They fought to keep it. The franchise had to change its name when it moved to OKC.
Oooh, a franchise being sold would love to have a large expring contract to go with those rookie deals wouldn't they?
How 'bout they dump Thompson and Brooks on us for Milsap and Bell?
Oh cool! I hope things turn out that way somehow.
This is how I would like the Western Confrence to look:
Crazy I know. Go ahead and tell me why this doesn't work.
Say hi seattle
Here is a chilling thought:
Have any of you bought a LHM Toyota lately?
The LHM Group is diversified enough that they will be fine.
I'd rather see:
Northwest- (obviously need a new designation)
Marvin Williams is from Seattle--Would the Sonic Kings want to trade for him now?
David Locke started calling games in Seattle--would the....no they wouldn't.
I like yours better.
Here's the best one. Hands down.
Portland moves to Pacific
Phoenix moves to Southwest
Milwaukee moves to Northwest
Memphis moves to Southeast
Washington moves to Atlantic
Toronto moves to Central
Golden State Warriors
Los Angeles Clippers
Los Angeles Lakers
Portland Trail Blazers
New Orleans Pelicans
San Antonio Spurs
Oklahoma City Thunder
New York Knicks
I do like it but I don't think it could happen unless (or until) Senator Kohl sells his team like it was rumoured earlier this week.
Casino owners having cash flow problems? That's always strange. I know they are probably involved in about a million other things too, which I'm now curious enough that I'm going to go look up. Remember when they were sort of thought of as being in the same league as a Mark Cuban type "hip" owner but a family of them though? Man, that faded fast. They have basically been non-players outside of all the rumored franchise moves.
