This could also mean we can resign him for cheaper next season saving money for Milsap and Al.....

    Yay?

I predict he's going to be gone a lot longer than the six weeks. If he is in a splint, it is going to take a lot of therapy to get the joint mobile and it is his shooting hand, so no big deal.

Jazz really need to push for Calderon or Lowry.

Hopefully they can move or release Raja Bell, in case they have to sign another PG. Are you allowed to sign 10-day contracts even if you have a full 15-man roster?

The 10 day K counts against the 15.

I just don't see the point in a stop-gap solution. Unless we're purposefully trying to get a worse pick in the draft.

They said last night on tv that it was 6 weeks to begin therapy, and it would take 4 to 6 weeks of therapy before he could play again = April. Now Corbin and the jazz have an excuse for failure.

So Burks will get extended minutes for at least six weeks.

Like it or not, and I don't mean this as a slight to Mo cuz I like him, but without Mo getting injured Burks is still sitting and we're (including Burks) all still furious

Why? They are not the long term answer so why bother?

Why? This does not fix the logjam at PF/C and it does nothing for the future of this team. Lowry is a stopgap (as Gyp said).

Is it too late to draft Damian Lillard?

Any trade we do for a point has to be for a point that is better than Mo because it will be a long term solution and then Mo decides during the of-season whether he will re-sign to come off the bench (again, which he didn't like) or go elsewhere.

I am of the mindset to use who we have unless we can get a truly great younger point guard. Why trade value for other veterans when we already have veterans? Sure, they aren't amazing, but they know the offence and the less they shoot, the more our 'core' group gets to put up shots. (Then again, that raises their value....)
