OAKLAND, Calif. — The Denver Nuggets will get something back for Andre Iguodala after all.
The Nuggets have agreed to separate sign-and-trade deals that will land them guard Randy Foye from the Utah Jazz and send Iguodala to the Golden State Warriors, a person familiar with the decision said Monday.
The Warriors had planned to sign Iguodala to a four-year, $48 million deal as a free agent last week. Instead, the restructured deal will give Golden State more salary cap flexibility, deliver Denver a $9 million trade exception and help Utah build for the future with expiring contracts and draft picks.

Still boggled at how excited Golden State fans are over a guy whose PER was .2 above the league average last year. And swingmen who rely on their athleticism drop off precipitously after 30 years of age in most cases.

Golden State has leveraged everything on a mediocre free agent class, as if they believe they are one step away from contention. They were lucky to make the playoffs last year and were even more fortunate to draw Denver in the first round. They are doomed.

AI adds an element that GS didn't have before. AI can get to the FT line better than anyone GS had on their team last year and isn't constantly looking to shoot 3's.

I really like they added Speights though. Not a good defender, but he is a good rebounder and is an awesome midrange shooter.
