Dem beautiful balls race

Look Nets may catch us but going to overtime with the Wiz is not a great sign. We may not win a game rest of the year. Still might be a battle for Nets to get 2 more wins. Truly clutch tank performance though. 9 is in the bag for sure.

Nah. He has played every game this year. Coming off the last two years that’s a major accomplishment that they need to let him complete if possible.

I also don’t know who can watch this last stretch of games and think we should move Collin and turn things over to Key. Lisan Al Gaib needs to learn the ways of the desert before becoming the chosen one.
 
We are just 1 game back of the Nets now. One! Get that 8th seed baby. It's a 26% chance of a top 3 pick. That's better than 1 in 4.

The Nets still play the Raptors and the Pistons between now and the end of the year. Plus some of the playoff teams are going to be resting vs the Nets. Can we end the season 0 - 10? We can control that, right?
 
So we will either get a top 4 pick or we will be at #9 and two teams from #10-14 will jump ahead of us leaving us with #11

Actually think we are on pace to get the 8th pick currently. The Jazz just lost the easiest game on their schedule.

Every remaining game is against a team who (at the time) is battling for playoff position. The Jazz are only 1 game ahead of the Nets. Nets have a game against the Pistons/Raptors/Bulls left.
 
And we really haven't seen extended minutes from the two ways, Lofton, Bazely, Luka, Lewis or Yurt7 yet. The loss number could be close to infinity.

Raps are tanking as hard as us... can the Nets go 1-1 against Bulls/Pistons? Having watched them... I am not sure. Pistons are occasionally frisky. Bulls have been solid. I think we end up tied for 8th/9th. Would split the ping pong balls and a coin flip would settle who has right to 8th or 9th spot.
