And Holland is not Kumingga, he's Corey Brewer
yeah I hunted around a bit too... I think the shooting is just bad and not necessarily some adjustment based thing.
He shot 31% overall in all games played with the ignite and had a strong shooting half vs Holland/Buzelis being consistently badJaden Hardy was a miserable shooter in the Gleague. It's one of the reasons he really slipped in the draft. His FT% (88%) was a strong signal, however.
It's just a big adjustment for teenagers to step out to the NBA line and get shots off at NBA speed. It's one of the reasons why Gleague isn't actually a great development path for HS prospects.
For me tweener is normally a defensive limitation not an offensive thing. So I think he is very much a tweener. He'll guard 4s and he'll switch a bit on the perimeter. He's not anywhere near the defender that Smith and Hendricks are. I don't think that makes him a tweener per se, just a limited defender.

Givony has always been an interviewer/reporter. That's why he hired Achmdtz and now works with Woo.
DX also post a mock and a board. They post their opinions. Their stuff is just behind a paywall
Buzelis was decent in the mid range when I scrolled around but I don't think he is a good defender... or not on Holland's level.

And I'm saying DX also post a big board that is just their opinion. You're misunderstanding. Both ESPN and Hoop Intellect post a draft board. The info/eval that goes into producing those boards is very different. I'm not saying one is better than the other, but I understand what is producing those rankings. ESPN's mock is more reflective of insider information than it is an individual's eval. That's all I'm saying.
Yeah I just think if you took that group and said "2 of these guys are starters and the rest are just rotation players... also two of these guys shoot 38% from three and the rest are sub 35%" I'm guessing the two shooters are the starter level guys. That is a long and complicated way to say "shooting is likely the swing skill with everyone in this group". lol my bad.... but I typed it so now you have to read it.He has a nice shot from the baselines (or at least the shot chart reflects that). Having said that, more of his baskets are assisted than Holland. I think Matas is fine, but Holland has like 10 things I prefer more about him.
Do we even know that they are? Have you seen them both in the same place and the same time? I haven't.I legitimately forget that Buzelis and Risacher are different people.
Hollands D is theoretical btwYeah I just think if you took that group and said "2 of these guys are starters and the rest are just rotation players... also two of these guys shoot 38% from three and the rest are sub 35%" I'm guessing the two shooters are the starter level guys. I would have to balance the likelihood of each guy shooting it well enough with the other things they bring (or don't bring). The reason I skew towards Castle and Holland is defense and passing combo. I think if the shooting does work those two have the highest ceilings.
If draft was tonight my Jazz top 10 board:
1. Sarr
2. Topic (homerun swing pick)
3. Castle
4. Sheppard
5. Knecht
6. Holland
7. Williams
8. Collier
9. Edey
10. Clingan
I legitimately forget that Buzelis and Risacher are different people. They are the big names omitted here, I just have no clue what to do with those dudes. And could not be excited if we drafted one. Maybe they will be awesome.

If we draft Rob Dillingham at 8 we'll all chip in and send you a pound of Pineapple Express.I don’t care who it is if we draft another defensive limited guard. I’ll snap
