Why Tomic > Kanter

I dont get it. If he's such a good passer why does he only have 40 assists this season? Hes about 2 per game compared to Kanter putting up 1.6.

Kanter is even a better defender than this guy and much better scorer. Tonic better be willing to come off the bench for 2 million, 3 million max. Id rather bring over the other guy or just resign Enes.
Sure, I'd rather have Enes too. But he wasn't willing to be a backup. How come you guys can't understand that? And he wanted max money.
No, Tomic isn't the player Enes was. I don't thinkl anyone would ever argue that. But he's also not going to demand a ton of money. Even HAD Enes accepted a role as the third big, we couldn't afford him. Gobert is going to get $20M+. Favors likely gets around $16M on his next contract (hopefully). And what does Gordon get? Simply can't afford to pay a third big $15M-$16M

The thread title is Tomic > Kanter. What are you on about mate?

Dumb question, we have length for miles, could we mask Tomic on D well enough to play huge--Fav, Tomic and Gobert? Can you imagine the matchup problems it would create on O?

Yeah right, resign Enes at the team's chemistry's cost. Only a dumb bloke would do that.

Kanter is not averaging 1.6 assists per game this season. He is averaging that for 7 games in okc but that number is quickly going back down to what he has averaged his whole career which is 0.6.

Kanter is not a better defender at this point in his career. Tomic has greatly improved his defense and puts effort in on defense. He also doesnt get lost and confused where he is on the court and what is happening like Kanter.

As far as offense goes we will have to see. I think when Kanter is Tomic age he will be a better scorer maybe but right now Tomic is much more efficient scorer while keeping the other players involved. Plus Tomic doesnt struggle with tall players guarding him.

Tomic has had >>>>>>>>>>>> career than Enes has so far. We will see if that equates to the NBA or not but he cant be as much of a Kancer and a liablity on defense that Kanter was.

Tomic today is better than Kanter today and will be cheaper to get than Kanter and comfortable coming off the bench.

What issues? We gave him what he wanted. To be freed up and showcase his skills and maximize market value. His agent can now bring impartial bids to us and ask if we would like to beat them. This is a win win for us and Kanter (if we get him back).

What? How does that line of thinking make any sense?

So if he comes over in 2016 instead of 2015 that is the difference from him being relevant and being irrelevant? That makes 0 logical sense.

If he doesn't come over by this off season, he'll never come over. Right now, I'd say the chances are slim. But after next year - would you rather be an AS in Spain or a 30 year old rookie in the NBA?

I'm not really interested in Tomic unless he can play the Small forward. Can he play the small forward? One Love?

Big guys should have the flexibility to play the SF, its the wave of the future. If Julius Randle can play the SF I don't see any reason why we couldn't slot Tomic there. . .

this offense is designed for bigs to facilitate at the elbows. Tomic needs to be here. Holy ****, our bench would instantly elevate.
