DL propped this **** up.

Gobert will go down as a fairy tale story as the greatest draft value of all time.
Hood in the hunt as a fantastic player and epic pick in his own right.
Hayward an all-star and unstoppable.
Burke matures and runs the team like a professional.
Favors digs deep, awakes from a dream with a primordial scream. Eyes glazed over. He has IT.
Dante watches and learns while getting a FIRE to get back in the game.
Burks licks his lips and crosses people over with ego-crushing madness.
Fans never sit down, all year.

Snyder points. First at the players, then at the scoreboard - the final one, then at the trophy - the big one.

Brace yourselves.

I'm talking chips and your first thought is to quote that Twitter-feuding twit?

I hope I didn't start any bad blood!

I'll see myself out.

No but seriously, your post helps get me PUMPED! I was a little down this week after Dante's injury. I want big things from the kid and the Jazz, but to be honest, in order for this team to contend, we will need everything to line up just as you described. This is a big year, an exciting year. We may even find out if we have a back up pg on our roster! I am excited. Hope Dante puts on another 10 lbs this offseason and we have 2 all stars. Jaz will never go out of style, out of style!

Crash is a good word for it. Train wreck would be a better description.
Only Jazz fans would follow my lead with Taylor Swift lyrics.

Or it might suck.

Seriously, though, the Dr. has some good points.

1. We - hopefully - get full seasons from Gobert, Hood and Burks. That's huge! I'm not sure which of those I'm more excited about, tbh.

2. Favors has gotten better every year and so has Hayward. They won't make any huge leaps, but even incremental progress is great to see. Gordon, especially, has all the tools he needs; that step back is unguardable. Now he just needs to up his percentages a bit.

3. I'm not holding my breath for Trey to become a great PG, but I am intrigued by Neto and Cotton. And I think DL will keep looking for a trade.

4. Not starting off from point zero with Snyder. Players know the offensive and defensive basics. Quin can start putting in new wrinkles and options.

BUCKLE UP...it's going to be a bumpy but exciting ride!

You got that right

I agree with all of this...Favors progression has been very underrated. His jump shot is almost automatic now, and he will really thrive defensively with Rudy for a full year instead of Kanter.

A healthy team with an extra year with Quinn is gonna be fun to watch

Words can break someone into a million pieces, but they can also put them back together. I hope you use yours for good, because the only words you'll regret more than the ones left unsaid are the ones you use to intentionally hurt someone.

So don't you worry your pretty little mind, because people throw rocks at things that shine.

We are going to win the Stanley Cup??

Wow!

I am wondering if Booker can play some SF. His three was solid last season and should be consistent or better. I would like to see him at SF and Lyles at PF in the second unit. I think the second unit ball movement is going to be improved this season due in part to Lyles (his vision and ability to stretch the floor). Whether it's Hood or Burks who starts at SG whomever doesn't start is going to bolster the 2nd unit and it will be much improved with Pleiss and Lyles as additions. It will be interesting to see who ends up as the 2nd string PG - it could be any one of the three PGs.
