I am not a fan of Numby, but why be so mean-spirited in attacking someone just because you don't agree with them? That's a problem on Jazzfanz. A lot of people here disagree with someone and descend into personal attacks and name-calling. Why? You don't really know the person. They are just expressing opinions. I think you need to look at yourself when you do this. Maybe you are projecting your own problems on them.

NAOS -- Yeah, and this has happened to me, A LOT, the personal attacks. It all started back around 2005-2006 when I complained about it generally and to the Mods, and also when I criticized Deron as one of the reasons for AK's decline. But instead of it being tempered, it got a lot worse. I attributed it to an influx of younger posters when Deron joined the Jazz. Anyway, that is in the past, and it is not as bad as it used to be.

He's one of the oldest players drafted the last few years, which is something I usually 'redflag'. I liked Withey in the 2nd round though because of blocks like this one, which aren't exactly standard for Centers..

Perhaps ... I sometimes don't know when to agree to disagree, and leave it at that, if that's what you mean. Or maybe there are times I should ignore criticism or attacks that I know are baseless rather than defend myself. So, are you being my shrink today?

Weren't there quite a few odd and very paranoid posts from you? ....stuff about you tracking people down, having strange premonitions of the future, and statements about how you could manifest your visions...? Ish like that?

Pretty much. **** like movies The Fan, The Gift and others where some dude is totally out of touch with reality and ****s up some innocent person's life.

Withey is definitely the missing piece. Jazz will be the first team in history to win the title with three 7 ft'ers on the team, but without a top-50 PG.

Not sure how he really fits the team. But it seems like Utah is now committed to having Favors play full-time at PF. That's probably a good thing.
