I think Burke/Lyles for Hill is a pretty damn good trade for both sides if Indiana decides it's time to push reset.
Ya I agree.

I like it. But I don't think Indiana will even consider it until the deadline, and I don't think it will get done without more sweetener.
Throw in PG with it and the Pacers can have Burke, Lyles, Hood, the OKC first and a future first from the Jazz and/or the GS first in 2017.

Yes, I know I'm dreaming.

If there was a team that needed to tank it would be this pacers team. All they have is hill and PG. Turner is nice but inexperienced CJ can't be starting on a good team. Almost no scoring off the bench.

Traditionally they don't tank, but if Monta is washed up and things keep going south they may firesale a couple players. George Hill would look good in a Jazz uni.

Hood is worth more than they all. No.

I agree having Hood to offset Hayward is a very important thing for this team. Hood is going to be very good this year. Trying to make teams cover and account for both is going to stress their D.

His jump this year on the O side will resemble Gobert's on D. Not quite as much of an impact but he will light people up and give the Jazz a very important midrange shooter.

You might be right on that one. His range, control, and BBIQ might make him better than Hayward & George in a couple years. His athleticism, though understated, is nothing to sneeze at, either. So it really comes down to Hood's combination of shooting & intangibles vs. George's superior physical profile.

The Jazz may have stolen top 5 draft talent in both 2013 and 2014. Certainly in 2013, and perhaps 2014.

Jazz go the steal of the draft 2 years in a row and after this season the whole league will know it.

Gobert in 2013
Hood in 2014

What excites me is that Hood is doing mor to this point of his career then anyone else on the Jazz to that point in their careers. Not even PG was this good starting in his second season. It will be fun to watch Hood grow from this to next year. Not sure u trade Hood straight up for PG?

He's probably going to be our 1st or 2end option on offense when it's all said and done by the time the season is over. It's not ridiculous to think he could be an allstar next year.
