What's new

GT: Jazz @ Super Sonics | 12/13/15 | 5pm MT

"This was a growing experience, we'll lose less and less of these as time goes on"

These types of things were being said about the thunder after close losses a few years back.

The warriors too

I finally got a chance to look back at the play by play.
Millsap played 23 mins. Probably half of them westbrook was out. While he was in westbrook scored 2 pts on free throws when Sap fouled him and hit another jumper. NO LAYUPS OR DUNKS. He chalked up 5 boards and 4 assists. He had 1 TO.

For now sure.
Do you not think the team can be better with a healthy Gobert and Exum? Or an experienced Gobert, Exum, hood, and more experienced Burks, favors, and hayward? Snyder is still learning too. I think our bench will get better personnel wise in the coming years.

Future still bright as a mother ****er

I've had a chance to chill out. I know the sky isn't falling, but this was a ****ty loss.

2 Points in OT, in the final 10 seconds. Two ****ing points. TWO ****ING POINTS!!!

ARUGH!!!!

Now that the sting of the end of the game has worn off, I have to say I would have expected a double digit loss to a health OKC at home without Gobert. The ending sucked, but the truth is my expectations were exceeded tonight.

Yeah, this makes sense, but good god that OT was depressing.

We have a good team, but we have no star. No closer. No leader.

Until we do this will be our result. Close, but no Clinton cigar.

I'll say this...

Trey was hot tonight. Trey has big game attitude and the chance to be a closer. Trey should be in the game for offensive possessions to close out some of these games.

Burks with the ball in his hands has been clutch all season. Alec dribbled the ball up the floor and Hayward demanded it. Hayward has to close better if he is going to demand the ball.

We gave up some dumb plays in the last 3 minutes. We could have easily finished this off with a rebound again. We looked exhausted. That translated to overtime when Quin continued with the same crew who were exhausted and that has a lot to do with getting 2 points in OT. Subbing patterns at the end could have relieved the boys and played to our strengths more. Plus going with a hot hand. Trey has been great and should be rewarded with those minutes.

Finally... no lucky girl = loss. The trend continues.

I disagree. This core has won close games too. They have made the big plays in big games against big time players and opponents.
Remember Haywards game winner vs lebron at the buzzer?

Yeah remember that game last year Hayward came through?

You see that's the problem right there. Real stars come through all the time, and hit game winners a lot. Not just a few a season.
