Milwakee broadcaster says what... (its about Rudy Gobert)

I was watching Milwakee game just now, the commentator whoever his name is, says this:

if the draft 2013 was redone, he would pick Giannis Antetokounmpo as #1 pick and Rudy as #2 pick.

what???? how is Giannis Antetokounmpo any better than Rudy? I guess its his opinion, at least he didn't say MCW should gone #1, Rudy #2.

Matt Harpring would say all the time on the broadcast that DWill belongs with Chris Paul in the Best Point Guard conversation....

Now we all know that's not true, but it's what the home crowd wants to hear.

(he then backtracked on it once DWill is traded).

Come on now, it might not be true anymore but DWill in his prime, in Utah, was definitely in that conversation. The Jazz typically owned Paul's teams and Deron typically owned Paul in the H2H matchups.

Now, post-Utah, it is definitely accurate to say he is not even remotely in that conversation. Injuries and no Sloan really derailed his career.

in 2013 draft, "C. J." McCollum is slightly better than Trey Burke at this point, McCollum said during the interview that he was like 5'3 in freshman of H.S.

They would certainly be the one and two picks, not sure I would pick the Greek freak over the French freak though. Giannis is pretty special though.

Don't know how long you've been watching the Jazz, but Deron used to own Chrissy for years in head to head matchups, and guys like Barkley called Deron the best PG in the league at one time. Far from being a homeristic statement by Matty. Obviously their career paths are like night and day now, but for a short time Deron was considered right there, if not the best by people around the league.
