Despite the mass panic, we are in fact...

Back to the Jazz, looking at the slate of 19 games I posted, if we have Gobert back for that stretch and Hood plays solidly (not great, solidly), is there a reason to think we can't go 14-5 over that stretch? 15-4 even?

The bolded games worry me the most. Let's say we lose them all. That is 15-4. Pretty damn good.

Ya, @Blazers ain't that scary. @Portland however, that's another story.
 
It's amazing that after all that's said and done we're still comfortably the 8th seed with 14-17.


The next team is POR in 9th with 14-21.


We would have to lose 4 more games to drop out of the 8th right? Wow that's pretty good with Gobert, Burks, and Favors out.

Reason I listed the second Blazers game (not sure why I listed the city once...) is that it is still fresh from AS weekend and I worry about a slightly slow start for 2-3 games. Especially after the slobber knocker of a Celtic game I expect. I will be at that Celtic game btw...

2. Because while we are losing Portland could be winning. Each differnce in win and losses (for example from 8 wins to 9 wins) is worth 1/2 a game.

Ah.. that's true. Still quite a nice cushion to have though given all the players we'll have coming back from injuries..

Lol. It's still a great sign considering the injuries. It could be far worse. Regardless of the adjective used I am encouraged by the Jazz's record.

You really believe they'll win 14 out of 15 to start that stretch?
