What's new

NFL 2015 Season Discussion Thread

Don't I've me that BS. If you can make the excuse then that exact logic works the other way. Especially when it's true. New England lost to Denver, again straight up. No excuses.

Now it is New England and Brady and they are elite and deadly on the field. But let's not act like Denver is a bunch of chumps. They are both elite and both capable of winning.

By the end of that game, NE was without the 6 or 7 best players not named Tom Brady. I didn't even know who half the guys on the field were. There isn't an argument about who was more dinged up in that game. And NE had zero time to adjust to the injuries.
BS. Denver was missing 4-6 Starters on defense by the end of that game. NE was missing 3-4 players of any relevance. Gronk, but only for a few plays and the 2 WR's.

missing defenders all over the field, too.

Tell me, why do you think you don't hear about how banged up Denver was? Left-wing media conspiracy?

Because the Broncos won. If they had lost that would have been a story. About how Brady edged out a victory over a depleted Denver D.

Come on. Denver has been...difficult for Brady his whole career.

All I know is that the four teams left are all elite and capable of winning it all. Hope the games are all good.

I think this post perfectly embodies why I would love for a manning to beat brady again. Pats fans need humbling.

humility is a bumper sticker for people like hotttnickkk.

I quoted a fact, dude. After you longed for "another Manning victory," or some such thing, which sounded weird.

But whatevs. I love the hate.

They always ignore Brady's losing record agaisnt Denver. All time and playoffs. Only team in the NFL that can say that.

I think Manning retires after this season. Win or lose I find it exremely fitting that his last AFC, and possibly NFL, game come against Brady.

how often do you hear people talk about Olajuwon's Rockets having a winning record against Jordan's Bulls?
how often do you hear people talk about the Jazz winning more regular-season games than anybody during the 90s?

There's a reason these things get backgrouded: they matter less.

Oh, come on down from that high horse. I'm not a fan of either team - I just like the Broncos more. "Another Manning victory" referred to the last time they met in the playoffs.

There is no hatred.

Because they won. And they needed an excuse for pretty boy Brady losing to a QB starting his 2nd game. Denver had more starters injured in that game than the Cheatriots.
