What's the Status on Burks?

I've had the injury it does not go away... It may lessen and worsen due to activity. Takes a while to be completely healed and absent. It's just soreness... Until you keep playing on it and it tears or the pain becomes to much. The hyper conservativeness with Burks is not consistent with what they are doing with Hayward. That's what I was trying to point out... Cy gonna Cy doe

You people are so ****ing annoying. Honestly. I said he sat out for the injury to heal up enough for him to play. I didnt say it healed up completely in two games off. Actually I said essentially what you said "it may lessen... due to activity". Kindly go **** off.

The Jazz returned Gobert after an injury.

The Jazz returned Favors after a weird back thing.

But the Jazz are holding out Burks for no reason at all because they are being too cautious.

Or maybe there is actual medical information gathered by medical professionals that tell them Burks isn't ready to play yet? Crazy contrarian thought process on my part, I know. Forgive me that I'm not wearing my Jazzfanz tinfoil hat.

you don't get it.

You can keep acting like this shows NOTHING about the management of the team, but it does. Exactly what it reveals can be debated, but it is revealing. Nice neg lol.

CY GON PUT THE CY IN CRY

That's fine. So tell us what that information is.

Look, the jazz are playing fantastic basketball right now. I think they are 8-2 in their last 10. I don't think that they would have any more wins during that stretch with Burks in the lineup.
I want to win my bet. I'm actually fine with Burks not playing because I would worry about his return changing the dynamic of the team right now. They have figured out a pretty good rotation and guys like booker, ingles, neto, and lyles are playing great.

But, I would just like to hear why he is out. Tell us something like Burks lost flexibility in his left hip while he was recovering from his surgery and now has pain in it so we are waiting for the hip pain to subside.

Or, his right hamstring hurts a little when he tries to explode to the hoop and so we are monitoring that pain and waiting for it to go away.

Or whatever. Just some actual info on why he is out instead of "everything went great with the surgery, he looks great, he feels great, there were no setbacks, but we are worried about injuries."

I gotta go with Cy on this one.

Usually the guy who is just listening to the medical professionals and not coming up with conspiracy theories isn't labeled the contrarian.

CORRECT. One thing this reveals is a mismanagement of information and media.

Again. Keep him out. That's fine, whatever.
Explain why doe.

What if rudy missed tonight's game and afterwards reporters asked the jazz why he missed the game and if he was injured or something and the response from the jazz was "no he isn't injured, he is fine. We are just worried that maybe he would have got injured if he had played."

Would we just be like, well the medical professionals were worried he might get hurt so we should just trust them. Or would we have a few questions we would like answered?

I know that isn't the same scenario but I think there should still be an actual answer and reason why Burks is being held out besides "we are worried he might get injured"

Also if we are just supposed to trust the doctors then shouldn't we have trusted them when they said he would be back around the all star break? Well looks like that was not the truth.

Isn't the injury being worse than they thought (taking longer to heal) an answer to that question?

The injury took longer to heal than they thought. So even though he seems fine, maybe they didn't have a clear idea of what they were dealing with and it couldn't hurt to hold him out a little longer just to be sure.

They have already came out and said that the surgery went fine and he is fully healed from the injury.

We already know that he is healed from his injury. If we are to trust the medical experts anyway.
They are saying they are keeping him out because they are worried he might get hurt again in the future

I feel like that happens all the time though.

"He's fine but we are going to take every precaution and hold him out another week."

Not unusual at all.
